Having been Managing Director of a number of companies he has extensive experience in the areas of strategy, business planning, marketing and international business development of technically complex products and services.
During his career he has worked for Massey Ferguson, Pilatus Aircraft Limited, Bombardier Aerospace and most recently with Blackpool International Airport in which he played a key part in its rapid growth.
He has also assisted start-up companies and in 2000 was a seed investor and Non Executive Chairman of an aero-engine maintenance software company which continues to grow.
With a BA Honours Degree in Modern Languages he is commercially fluent in French and Spanish, and has frequently operated in multi-cultural environments.
Elected as a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society in 1997 he is also holder of a Private Pilot’s Licence.
